Sheer and Velvet Dress with a Cherry Lip

It’s Monday!  It is going to be an amazing week!  BUT First…

Today is stormy and warm Monday in Summerville SC!  It is back to the work week, and my students and I are enjoying the sounds of the storm.  Here is my look:

I am wearing a black slip under a sheer long dress with a velvet pattern in vibrant shades of fuchsia and Burgundy.

I paired it with my lace kimono and pointed toe patent leather heels.

I am wearing navy tassel earrings and my gold monogram necklace.  My nails are one of my favorite Fall shades Wicked by Essie.

Before leaving the house I grabbed my Cherries in the Snow by Revlon and I was ready to take on this week with enthusiasm.

I have mixed feelings about the new thick long wear matte lip creams, and tried something new today.  I used them as shadow and it worked well!  After they dry they stay put and offer build-able bold color that lasts.  I was worried my hair might get stuck in my shadow (Like a lip gloss, but that was not the case.)
